New Beginnings

The holidays are over, it’s dark at 4:30 pm, and the snow is piling up outside. What do you do?

For me, I write and research even more than I typically do. It’s often during these times that I come across my most ambitious projects and begin preparing to bring them to life. 2023 is no different, and to that end, I’ve begun ‘The Romance Project,’ as I like to call it. Don’t worry; my books will continue to be published; I’m simply widening my horizons and taking you along with me.

You may wonder what this project entails, and I’m happy to share. I’ve begun my own YouTube Channel, @mtasiaromance, where I will be sharing my day-to-day with you and exploring what love and romance mean to various people from different walks of life.

You’ll come along with me on outings, such as bookstores, signings, and much more, and along the way, I will share items I receive and give you my review of them.

Basically, I’m giving you access to my life, the life of a romance author, and trust me; it’s not all bonbons and champagne.

The struggles and stress are as real as the joy and excitement.

Here is a partial listing of the activities we’ll participate in this year.

Zen on the Lake – yoga retreat

Esta Chocolates – chocolate making and history

Chateau Vezeau Wines – winemaking

Tanessarose – soap making

Giftologie – jewelry making

Hotels – I have a poll open in my Facebook group, Tasia’s Teasers, for everyone to choose their top three romantic hotels in the Toronto area. There are six to choose from. We will visit the top three.

I’ve secured affiliate links with outstanding products to give my followers a discount on their products and become an Amazon Influencer to review myriad products, so you don’t have to. I will only post the ones I believe are of the best quality and value for money.

We have a big year ahead, and I intend to use it to explore ways in which people show their love to others (romance) and themselves, such as a relaxing, rejuvenating yoga retreat.

If any of you, my followers, have ideas or suggestions on places I have to see or people I should meet, please don’t hesitate to reach out and let me know.

So, let’s brush off the snow and start something new together.

Love Michelle xo
